Nonlinear Systems and Applications

A Workshop in Honor of Professor David Hill’s 60th Birthday

David J. Hill, Professor and Federation Fellow at Australian National University, turns 60 in October 2009.  Professor Hill is a leading researcher in Nonlinear Systems and Applications, having made seminal contributions in areas including stability theory, adaptive control, non-linear control, power networks, and stability properties, optimization and control of network systems. With numerous doctoral students, post-doctorial fellows and non-student collaborators, Professor Hill has served as a teacher and mentor to researchers in Nonlinear Systems and Applications throughout the world. This workshop is intended to be a tribute to the care with which he has nurtured Nonlinear Systems and Applications and the researchers in the field.
